Sunlight.io Limited (“Sunlight”) Brand Guidelines
These guidelines apply to all use of Sunlight’s trademarks, service marks, logos and get-up (“Sunlight Marks”) by any third party (“you”) that is licensed by Sunlight (“Permitted Sunlight Marks”). You must not use any modified version of any Permitted Sunlight Marks, nor any word marks that sound the same as or colourably similar to them or logos that look the same as or colourably similar to them.
When using the Permitted Sunlight Marks: (i) you must display, in a reasonably prominent manner, adjacent or very close to their display, a notice that: “[name of Permitted Sunlight Mark] is a registered trademark of Sunlight.io Limited”, if it is registered; or, “[name of Permitted Sunlight Mark] is a trademark of Sunlight.io Limited”, if it is unregistered. Where your use is within the USA then, additionally, you must apply the correct trademark symbol alongside the Permitted Sunlight Mark when it is first displayed in a literary or graphic work.
If you are licensed by Sunlight to publicly describe yourself as having a relationship with Sunlight (for example, “Authorised Reseller”) you may use the Permitted Sunlight Marks for that purpose but only adjacent to the words describing that relationship: for example, “Sunlight Authorised Reseller”. If you are licensed by Sunlight to publicly describe a relationship between your goods/services and those of Sunlight then, your use of the Permitted Sunlight Marks must only be to refer to that relationship: for example, “Powered by [name of Sunlight solution]” or “Includes [name of Sunlight solution]”.
The Permitted Sunlight Marks must not form a part of the product name of your goods/services; or be more prominent than the product name of your goods/services. The Permitted Sunlight Marks must not be used: (i) in a way that is false or misleading or damaging to Sunlight’s goodwill or reputation or that of its goods/services; or (ii) as part of any url.
Your licensed use of the Permitted Sunlight Marks does not entitle you to use the whole or any part of any other Sunlight Marks. All goodwill arising from your use of Permitted Sunlight Marks exclusively inures to the benefit of and belongs to Sunlight.
